Mon Health Stonewall Jackson Memorial Hospital Wellness Committee Kicks Off 5K Season with Annual Gobble Gallop

The event will start at 9AM at 160 Jackson Mill Rd, Weston, WV 26452. Registration for the event is $5 and can be completed online at: https://www.webscorer.com/registerlist?raceid=364361.
“This is a fun event,” said Kevin Stalnaker, Chief Administrative Officer at Mon Health Stonewall Jackson Memorial Hospital. “There is a minimal registration fee with the goal of getting people out on Thanksgiving Day to participate in a healthy activity before that big Thanksgiving dinner. Last year, we had several out-of-town visitors participating, which made it all the more enjoyable.”
The Wellness Committee is dedicated to promoting health in Lewis County and welcomes non-profits interested in joining the initiative. Those who would like to participate can contact the committee at (304) 517-8612.
In addition to the Gobble Gallop, other upcoming wellness events include:
“Community events like the Gobble Gallop are a wonderful way to bring people together for a fun, healthy activity, and we’re excited to see both locals and visitors join in,” said Julia Spelsberg, Community Outreach Coordinator at Mon Health Stonewall Jackson Memorial Hospital. “Our goal is to inspire more people in our community to get active and enjoy the benefits of a healthier lifestyle, especially around the holidays.”
