Patients from all over the region come to the Zelda Stein Weiss Cancer Center for the latest in cancer treatment and technologies. Our team collaborates to develop customized treatment plans for each patient, and they meet regularly to revise the plans as needed.
We are proud that our team includes oncologists who have trained at some of the top cancer centers in the country. We follow National Comprehensive Cancer Network (NCCN) guidelines which are recognized as the gold standard of practice for cancer treatment.
Our cancer center has received Comprehensive Community Center Program (CCCP) accreditation from the American College of Surgeons Commission on Cancer. Tricia has been an oncology nurse for 33 years. She has worked as an oncology staff nurse, staff educator, and in the fields of vascular access, ethics, and palliative care. She graduated with both nursing degrees from Fairmont State University. Mariea Hamm, RN, Breast Health Nurse Navigator has worked in the healthcare field for over 30 years. She has worked as a Unit Clerk, Staff Assistant, Registered Nurse and Clinical Manager in the fields of Oncology, Stem Cell Transplant, Medicine, Surgery and OBGYN.
