Mon Health Medical Center has been rated as High-Performing for Heart Failure and Chronic Obstructive Pulmonary Disease (COPD) 2024-2025 by U.S. News & World Report. This is the highest distinction a hospital can earn for U.S. News’ Best Hospitals Procedures & Conditions ratings.

Mon Health Medical Center is among the elite 38% that earned an award. The annual Procedures & Conditions ratings are designed to assist patients and their doctors in making informed decisions about where to receive care for challenging health conditions or elective procedures.

A hospital’s congestive heart failure score is based on patient outcomes, volume, advanced heart programs, and more. The COPD score is based on patient survival, discharging patients to home, nurse staffing, and more. U.S. News evaluated nearly 5,000 hospitals across 15 specialties and 20 procedures and conditions. Hospitals awarded a “Best” designation excelled at factors such as clinical outcomes, level of nursing care, and patient experience.
