Posted Date: 11/7/2024
Legendary college basketball coach and Hall of Famer, Bob Huggins, invites fans and community members to the 13th Annual Bob Huggins Fish Fry on Saturday, February 1, 2025.
This year’s highly anticipated event will take place at the Hazel & J.W. Ruby Community Center Event Complex at Mylan Park in Morgantown, and will feature a special guest that is to be announced. Meg Bulger, West Virginia University Sports Hall of Fame Women’s Basketball player, will return as the event’s emcee.
Doors open at 5:30 PM, and individual and sponsor tickets are on sale now at BobHugginsFishFry.org. The Boston Beanery will cater the event, serving up fan-favorite bites for a true West Virginia feast.
“We are excited for another year of an event the community loves,” Huggins said. “The goal remains the same. We want to raise money to fight cancer and continue helping to provide the best healthcare in our state.”
Guests can look forward to a silent auction offering unique items and experiences, plus an exclusive live auction with rare, in-person-only items. Proceeds from the Bob Huggins Fish Fry, presented by Little General Stores, will benefit the Norma Mae Huggins Cancer Endowment, supporting cancer care services at Vandalia Health, and the Remember the Miners Scholars Program.
Multiple sponsorship levels are available, offering exciting ways for businesses and individuals to support these important causes.
