Mon Health Preston Memorial Hospital Employee Dresses as Santa Claus to Visit Patients and Spread Holiday Cheer

Posted Date: 12/27/2023
Mon Health Preston Memorial Hospital’s Jeffie Vandevander spent his day off spreading holiday cheer to patients at the hospital.

Dressed as Santa Claus in the traditional red suit and white beard, Jeffie made some rounds visiting patients staying at the hospital. This is not the first year that “Santa” has made his appearance at Mon Health Preston Memorial Hospital, Jeffie has made a tradition of his holiday visits with no plans of stopping.

“I enjoy making people happy and I enjoy dressing up,” said Jeffie. “Patients know I dress up for holidays, so now they look for me to do this. When I come in for a visit, patients’ faces light up like a Christmas tree.”

This holiday season, Mon Health Preston Memorial Hospital extends its gratitude to Jeffie for his selfless contributions and wishes everyone a joyous and healthy holiday and new year.
