Mon Health Preston Memorial Hospital Reflects on 2023 and its Advances in Rural Healthcare

In just the last year, Mon Health Preston Memorial Hospital was recognized for achieving high quality of care standards with DNV Acute Stroke Ready Center Certification, its pulmonary rehabilitation program was certified by the American Association of Cardiovascular and Pulmonary Rehabilitation, and the hospital achieved Pathway to Excellence Program™ designation which demonstrated commitment to a culture of sustained excellence and a positive practice environment for nurses.
The hospital’s commitment to increasing access to quality, high-tech healthcare in rural West Virgina remained a top priority in 2023 and was manifested in the opening of the new Comprehensive Infusion Center for cancer patients. In addition, the hospital expanded its MRI services and introduced a new robotics program to provide robotic surgery options for patients.
