Posted Date: 12/17/2019
Preston Memorial Hospital employees continued the yearly holiday tradition of supporting the Salvation Army in holiday giving. This holiday season, PMH employees supported the Salvation Army’s Angel Tree program by sponsoring 32 children and 61 senior citizens.
The Salvation Army collects and distributes senior care packages to long-term care facilities throughout Preston County. This year, PMH employee donations will go to senior citizens at Hopemont Hospital in Terra Alta, WV. Gifts purchased for the sponsored 32 Angel Tree children will also be disbursed throughout Preston County.
Kim Liston, Community Programs Coordinator, states that PMH employees enjoy giving back to the community, especially during the holiday season. “Our employees look forward to sponsoring Angels every holiday season. In 2019, PMH was able to adopt more Angels than in years past. Departments work together as a team to provide gifts for children and senior citizens. Our employees are happy to bring holiday cheer to all generations in Preston County.”
