Mon General Hospital Medical Building Coming to Fairmont
Posted Date: 1/6/2017

Mon General Hospital has recently purchased property in Fairmont for its new outpatient
clinic. The newly acquired land is located on the Fairmont Gateway Connector.
The $4.5 million medical building will house 30 exam rooms, multiple procedure rooms,
radiology services and an outpatient laboratory. The 15,000 square-foot, three-story building will
sit on 1 acre of land off Interstate 79 Exit 136’s northbound ramp.
The new building will provide Mon General services such as primary care, cardiology,
pediatrics, general surgery and orthopedics.
“Our mission is to enhance the health of the communities we serve, one person at a time.
Residents in Marion County and the surrounding area have travelled to Mon General and our
physician clinics for decades. This is an opportunity to make our services more convenient and
easily accessible,” Mon Health System President and CEO Darryl Duncan said.
Mon General Hospital currently provides primary care and cardiology services in
ambulatory sites in Marion County. “This new clinic will allow improved access to high quality
primary care and specialty services,” Duncan said.
The building is scheduled to open in the fall of 2017.
