  Adult or College Student Volunteer

  To become a volunteer, please complete an Adult Online Application or College Student Online Application. Once the application is received and reviewed, you will be contacted to discuss your     application and to possibly set up an interview. During the interview, we will discuss your interest in volunteering and what position and schedule would be best for you.

  Adults must commit to:

  •   Volunteering a minimum of 100 hours volunteering, volunteer once a week or become an on-call volunteer.
  •                        Volunteering for 3 to 4 hours per shift.  

  Junior Volunteer

  The Junior Volunteers contribute by helping in the Gift Shop, Material Distribution Center, Mon Kids Child Development Center, Patient Chart Assembly, Reception Desk, Endoscopy, PathFinder, Women’s Imaging and Sterile Processing.The program provides students with the experience of working in a hospital, as well as obtaining a reference for their first jobs. You may apply by completing a Junior Volunteer Online Application. Once the application is received and reviewed, you will be contacted to discuss your application and to possibly set up an interview. During the interview, we will   discuss your interest in volunteering and what position and schedule would be best for you.  Depending on the number of applicants, we may limit the number of students accepted into the program.

   Students must commit to:

  Volunteering a minimum of 50 hours

  Volunteering once a week, at the minimum

  Volunteering for 3 to 4 hours per shift

  During our summer volunteer program, students cannot be absent for more than two weeks.
  Students will be contacted to discuss their application and to possibly set up an interview.  During the interview, we will discuss your interest in volunteering and what position and schedule would be best for you.




Junior Volunteer Scholarship Opportunities:


New volunteers must complete the pre-volunteer requirements including:                                                                                                  
  • A TB test (given on site by our Employee Health Nurse)
  • Annual Flu vaccine
  • Provide a copy of vaccination record (Junior Volunteers only)
  • Complete the volunteer orientation program, which will be set up by the Director of Volunteer Services
  • Agree to a criminal records check (Adults only)
