Mon Pathways to Success Graduates Second Cohort

Mon Health is delighted to announce the successful graduation of the second cohort of the Mon Pathways to Success program. This initiative, dedicated to empowering individuals facing various barriers to employment, has proven instrumental in fostering personal and professional growth among the participants.
Founded in February 2023, Mon Pathways to Success strives to provide a transparent, sustainable, and comprehensive program to empower individuals experiencing homelessness, recovery, or those who have difficulty re-entering the workforce. In addition to providing free transportation and a meal for program participants each shift, the delivery of monthly professional development workshops, career counseling, mentorship, and experiential education are available to encourage personal and career growth.
The recent cohort of graduates has completed an intensive six-month educational curriculum covering a diverse range of topics. These classes include:
•Financial Literacy: Equipping participants with essential skills for effective financial management. Special thank you to partners at United Way.
•Professional Development: Nurturing growth and preparing individuals for successful careers.
•Career Pathways Exploration: Providing insights into potential career trajectories and opportunities.
•Health and Wellness: Focusing on holistic well-being for a balanced and fulfilling life.
•Benefits Understanding: Ensuring comprehension and maximization of available benefits.
•Local Resources Awareness: Connecting participants with valuable local resources for ongoing support.
In addition to the educational curriculum, participants engaged in enriching discussions with representatives from WV Jobs and Hope, gaining valuable insights into regional support.
