The Village at Heritage Point Residents Donate a Dollhouse to Suncrest Early Learning Center

Posted Date: 3/7/2024
The Village at Heritage Point donated a handmade dollhouse to the children at the Suncrest Early Learning Center.

The Village strives to make available a multitude of events, activities, and hobbies, allowing the residents to continue to enjoy what they love most. As residents of The Village for six years each, Wayne Stiles and Glenn Snyder have enjoyed building many dollhouses together as a hobby. The two friends had the opportunity to join staff in donating the house that they built to the local children’s center.

Stiles has done handy work his whole life and enjoys building dollhouses. Snyder says that he enjoys having something to do that makes other people feel happy. When they delivered the handmade dollhouse, the children at the Suncrest Early Learning Center were overjoyed and excited to begin playing with the residents’ creation.

The Suncrest Early Learning Center said about the generous donation, “We are grateful to The Village at Heritage Point for donating a dollhouse to our preschool classroom, the Dragonfly room. We are sure that this dollhouse will be very helpful in exploring dramatic play, which is essential for growth and development.”
