“I am honored to have been chosen by the WVHA to participate in the Leadership Academy,” said Mudry. “Having spent most of my healthcare career in Pennsylvania, I am looking forward to expanding my knowledge of how healthcare operates in West Virginia.”

Tamara Newsome, Mon Health System Practice Administrator, has worked at Mon Health for five and a half years. Newsome is responsible for the planning, organizing, and directing the overall clinical and business operations of Mon Health Preston Memorial Hospital’s medical group practices. She ensures compliance with healthcare regulations and standards, develops and implements strategic plans for practice growth and development, and collaborates with healthcare providers to optimize practice operations. In addition, Newsome played a role in providing cancer care services close-to-home for patients in Preston County.

“It is such an honor to be recognized by the leadership at Mon Health Preston Memorial Hospital as a candidate for the WVHA Leadership Academy,” said Newsome. “I am grateful for the opportunity to connect with other healthcare professionals to expand our leadership skills. I believe there is great value in sharing our individual expertise to further expand the reach of patient care in West Virginia.”

Regan Siko, Mon Health System Director of Oncology Service Line, has worked at Mon Health for 14 years. Siko is responsible for the oversight of operations and direction of the oncology service line for both Mon Health System and Davis Health System. She supports project development, and the planning and implementation of expanded services. In her tenure at Mon Health, she has expanded access to cancer services for patients in West Virginia. Notably, Siko established the Radiation Oncology Program at Mon Health Medical Center in Morgantown and expanded both Medical Oncology and Infusion Servies at Mon Health Preston Memorial Hospital in Kingwood, West Virginia. Additionally, she established Apheresis at Mon Health Medical Center to provide an offering of Provenge, a treatment for metastatic prostate cancer to patients in West Virginia.

“Being accepted into the WVHA Leadership Academy is not just an honor but a pivotal opportunity to deepen my impact in healthcare, learn from industry leaders, and elevate patient care to new heights,” said Siko.
