Mon Health Marion Neighborhood Hospital Has the Fastest Emergency Department in West Virginia

Based on the Centers for Medicare & Medicaid Services’ (CMS) Timely and Effective Care-Hospital data for 2023, Mon Health Marion Neighborhood Hospital’s ER is among the 12 hospitals in the United States with the shortest emergency department visit times, according to Becker’s.
The nationwide median for emergency department visit times, measured over a 12-month period ending on Sept. 20, 2023, is 163 minutes. The median visit time in Mon Health Marion Neighborhood Hospital’s Emergency Department, measured over that same 12-month period, is 60 minutes, more than an hour and a half shorter than the national median visit time.
