Mon Health Cancer Center Welcomes Dr. Michael Craig

Mon Health Cancer Center is pleased to welcome Dr. Michael Craig as a medical oncologist and hematologist.
“We are proud welcome Dr. Craig to the Mon Health Cancer Center and our comprehensive team of providers,” said Karen Friggens, Vice President of Physician Services at Mon Health Medical Group. “Dr. Craig’s experience and expertise are an invaluable addition to the care we provide and will undoubtedly make a positive impact on the patients we serve.”
Dr. Craig is board-certified in hematology and oncology. He received his Doctorate of Medicine from West Virginia University, where he completed his residency in internal medicine. Additionally, Dr. Craig completed his fellowship in Hematology-Oncology at West Virginia University and his fellowship in Blood and Marrow Transplantation at Stanford University.
Dr. Craig was formerly the Section Chief of Hematology/Oncology at WVU Cancer Center before moving to North Hawaii Community Hospital’s Cancer Center. Beginning August 1, he will join the Mon Health Cancer Center’s team of oncologists to provide comprehensive cancer care.
“I am excited to return to West Virginia and continue to serve patients across the state alongside the excellent team at Mon Health,” said Dr. Craig. “As quality cancer care is hard to access for many patients across the state, I am proud to join a team with expert, comprehensive care spanning across the region.
