Mon Health Wedgewood Primary Care & Psychiatry Welcomes Dr. Lauren Mayle

She is a valuable addition to our team at Mon Health Wedgewood Primary Care & Psychiatry and will enhance the behavioral healthcare we provide to our patients across the region.”
Dr. Mayle received her Doctorate of Osteopathic Medicine from West Virginia School of Osteopathic Medicine in Lewisburg, West Virginia before completing her residency in psychiatry at West Virginia University’s School of Medicine in Morgantown, West Virginia. She is board certified as a General Psychiatrist through the American Board of Psychiatry and Neurology.
“My goal has always been to provide quality, evidence-based care to West Virginians. I am thankful for the opportunity to continue to carry out my goal by serving West Virginia through Mon Health System,” said Dr. Mayle. “In addition to treatment with medications, I enjoy discussing overall health and wellness with patients, including sleep, diet, and exercise. I feel overall physical wellness is often overlooked, but it is an important part of mental health.”
As a general psychiatrist, Dr. Mayle will treat adults with depression, bipolar disorder, anxiety, substance use disorders, and thought disorders. She is now seeing patients at Mon Health Wedgewood Primary Care & Psychiatry at the Mon Health Medical Park in Morgantown.
