First Exchange Bank Donates $3K to Mon Health Medical Center Foundation for Breast Cancer Initiatives

First Exchange Bank has raised $3,000 to support Vandalia Health’s Mon Health Medical Center Foundation’s breast cancer initiatives as part of the bank’s annual “Pink Out” event. For every deposit account opened during October, the bank pledged to donate $25, successfully reaching its goal of $3,000.

Bank representatives were on hand Monday to present the funds to representatives of Vandalia Health’s Mon Health System and Mon Health Medical Center Foundation at the Mon Health Obstetrics & Gynecology clinic in White Hall.

“We are thrilled to partner with the Mon Health Medical Center Foundation to support such a critical cause,” said Shaela Duckworth, Branch Sales and Administration Manager, Assistant Vice President, First Exchange Bank. “Breast cancer impacts so many lives in our community, and we are proud to contribute to initiatives that make a difference for patients and their families.”

The funds will help advance Mon Health Medical Center Foundation’s ongoing efforts to raise awareness, support early detection and improve outcomes for individuals affected by breast cancer throughout the community and surrounding region.
