Mon Health Marion Neighborhood Hospital Registered Nurse Awarded DAISY Award

The DAISY Award is awarded to nurses biannually at the hospital and is a part of the DAISY Foundation’s program to recognize and thank nurses for the care and kindness they provide. Nominations are sent in by patients, families, and coworkers and compiled to award selected recipients.
“Receiving the DAISY award is an incredible honor,” said Semplice. “When I was nominated last year, it was a humbling reminder that sometimes as nurses we think our work goes unnoticed, but can actually leave an enduring imprint on another human being. To be awarded this year as an extraordinary nurse is an affirmation that this is where I'm supposed to be. I will continue to wear my pins proudly every shift in the Emergency Department and inspire my fellow nurses to be the best they can be. I appreciate and value this award, as well as the mission of the program. Thank you to the patient for this truly wonderful honor.”
Semplice is a Registered Nurse at Mon Health Marion Neighborhood Hospital and has worked in the Emergency Department since January 2022. Because of her acts of selflessness and commitment to go above and beyond for her patients, she was nominated and selected as a recipient for this award.
