Mon Health Preston Memorial Hospital Supports Local Back-to-School Events

On Tuesday, August 20, Mon Health Preston Memorial Hospital staff will attend Preston High School’s Open House to provide information on vaping prevention, recovery resources, and wellness visits.
On Wednesday, August 21, hospital staff will stop by Kingwood Elementary School’s Back to School Splash to provide information on vaping prevention, wellness visits, and poison prevention. Staff will also play educational games and give away school supplies and juice boxes to students. Additionally, Mon Health Preston Memorial Hospital staff will greet students on their first day of school, handing out pencils and welcoming them back to school.
“The back-to-school season can be both exciting and nerve-wracking for students and parents alike. As a community hospital, we want to show our support to those headed back to school by providing resources and information to start their school year off successfully,” said Melissa Lockwood, Chief Administrative Officer of Mon Health Preston Memorial Hospital.
