Mon Health Preston Memorial Hospital’s Cardiopulmonary Rehabilitation Program AACVPR Certified

Posted Date: 9/3/2024
Mon Health Preston Memorial Hospital is proud to announce the recertification of its Cardiac Rehabilitation Program by the American Association of Cardiovascular and Pulmonary Rehabilitation (AACVPR). This certification is recognition of the commitment to improving the quality of life of patients by enhancing standards of care and follows the Pulmonary Rehabilitation Program’s certification in August 2023.

AACVPR Program Certification is the only peer-review accreditation process designed to review individual programs for adherence to standards and guidelines developed and published by AACVPR and other related professional societies. The certification is awarded for a period of three years.

To earn recertification, Mon Health Preston Memorial Hospital’s Cardiac Rehabilitation Program participated in an application process that required extensive documentation of the program’s practices. Each program’s application is reviewed by the AACVPR Program Certification Committee, and certification is awarded by the AACVPR Board of Directors.

AACVPR-certified programs are leaders in the cardiovascular and pulmonary rehabilitation field because they offer the most advanced practices available and have proven track records of high-quality patient care.

“At the Cardiopulmonary Rehabilitation Program, we are dedicated to delivering the best-possible care to each of our patients and this certification demonstrates those efforts,” said Terri Hauser, Cardiopulmonary Rehab Manager. “We will continue to work hard to provide our patients with the most updated, evidence-based rehabilitation care available, and work with our patients to help them achieve their health goals.”
