Mon Health Primary Care Mannington Office Now Seeing New Patients

Mon Health Primary Care Mannington office now has two nurse practitioners who are welcoming new patients.

Melisa Loving, MSN, FNP-C, and Amber Weaver, MSN, FNP-BC, are both taking appointments for new patients at the 800 East Main Street location in Mannington. The office is easily accessible and provides a comfortable setting for patients.

Loving grew up in the Beckley and Princeton area of southern West Virginia. She attended medical school at West Virginia Wesleyan College in Buckhanon. She chose to practice medicine in Mannington because she can relate to the area and wants to help the community maintain their health.

"I chose to come to Mon Health because it is a well-respected health organization within the community that would allow me to serve rural West Virginia in a primary care setting," Loving said.

Weaver was born and raised in Fairmont, WV and attended Maryville University of St. Louis in Missouri. She entered the medical field wanting to take care of the entire family from children to adults. Practicing medicine in Mannington allows her to care for others while giving back to her community.

"Our primary care office in Mannington allows me to serve the patients of Marion County in all aspects of their healthcare needs," Weaver said.

Mon Health Primary Care's Mannington office hours are Monday through Friday, 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. The office specializes in health promotion, disease prevention, chronic disease management, men and women's health, geriatric medicine, physical exams and sports physicals.
