Mon Health Stonewall Jackson Memorial Hospital’s Gobble Gallop Winners Announced; Cookies and Cocoa Run Set for Dec. 14

Thirty-two racers braved rainy conditions and 44-degree temperatures for Mon Health Stonewall Jackson Memorial Hospital’s 6th Annual Gobble Gallop Thanksgiving morning at WVU Jackson’s Mill in Lewis County.
Kevin Kiser took first place in the male race with a time of 20:58, followed by Owen Debar at 21:56, and in third was Nick Atchison with a time of 22 minutes. Top female was Audrey Corrigan with a time of 24:28, Jaelyn Romans in second place with a 25:58 time, and in third was Carissa Sands at 27.55.
“As a community hospital, we strive to promote healthy living and provide opportunities for people to get involved locally,” said Kevin Stalnaker, Chief Administrative Officer at Mon Health Stonewall Jackson Memorial Hospital. “This 5K series is a fun way to bring the community together and encourage healthy activity.”
The next race of the series, Mon Health Stonewall Jackson Memorial Hospital’s Cookies and Cocoa 5K, will be held on Saturday, Dec. 14, at the hospital’s Weston campus.
