Mon Health Supports 2024 Monongalia County Fair

Mon Health System is proud to be a part of the Monongalia County Fair’s kickoff parade on Monday, August 19 at 6PM. Mon Health employees will be joined by their families to hand out popsicles alongside Mon Health’s parade float that is annually featured in the Buckwheat Festival Parade. In addition, the Mon Health Medical Center FROG, the “Free Rides On Ground” patient transportation vehicle, and the West Virginia School of Nursing at Mon Health’s Mobile Nursing Lab will be driven down High Street for the parade.
During the fair from August 20-24, Mon Health employees will staff the first aid tent to provide free medical treatment to fairgoers in need. Additionally, the Mon Health Trauma and Stroke Coordinators will provide much needed education on the importance of identifying stroke symptoms, quick stroke response, and more.
