Posted Date: 2/19/2024
Random Acts of Kindness Day is on Saturday, Feb. 17 and Mon Health System celebrated just a few days before the official holiday with a heartwarming initiative aimed at brightening the days of its dedicated staff members.
In a spirit of kindness and camaraderie, Mon Health System leadership took the “Sunshine Cart” through every floor of each Mon Health System facility. The Sunshine Cart, filled with an array of snacks and drinks, served as a delightful surprise for staff members to enjoy throughout the day.
"At Mon Health System, we are dedicated to providing the best care for the communities we serve, and as a part of that effort, we strive to create a positive and uplifting environment for our staff," said Nate James, System Director of Employee & Workforce Engagement. "Celebrating Random Acts of Kindness Day was an opportunity for leadership to express their gratitude and spread joy among our hardworking employees."
As the official Random Acts of Kindness Day approaches, Mon Health System encourages everyone to join in spreading kindness and positivity within their communities, recognizing the profound impact small acts of kindness can have on individuals' well-being.
“At Mon Health System, our employees dedicate themselves to enhancing the health of the communities we serve, and to do so in a kind and compassionate way where our patients always feel like they’re top priority,” said Katie Davison, Chief Human Resources Officer for Mon Health System. “We love to take opportunities like Random Acts of Kindness Day to give back to our incredible employees for the selfless care they demonstrate each day.”
