She is a member of the American Society for Healthcare Risk Management (ASHRM), Certified Professional in Healthcare Risk Management (CPHRM), Institute for Healthcare Improvement (IHI), and President-Elect of the WVSHRM. Blair is married with two sons.

“I am proud to represent Mon Health System as the President-Elect of WVSHRM,” Blair said. “Developing these professional relationships statewide and nationally is a significant part of my career. This experience will provide a platform for me to promote safe patient care and advance the healthcare risk management profession.”

Wilma Sternthal, Executive Director at The Village at Heritage Point, has been appointed to the Board of Directors for the West Virginia Health Care Association (WVHCA). The WVHCA is the largest trade association representing nursing facilities and assisted living communities in West Virginia. Their mission is to advance the quality and professionalism that is essential to residents receiving long-term care services.

Sternthal has worked for The Village and The Suites at Heritage Point for 21 years. She graduated from Fairmont State University before receiving her master’s in Nursing Leadership and Administration from California University of Pennsylvania.
