Mon Pathways to Success Program Graduates Fourth Cohort

The latest cohort of graduates are Debra Ellison, Housekeeping; Samantha Bierer, Pre-Access Specialist; Bryan Glenn, Peer Recovery Coach; and Joseph Choma, Maintenance Technician.
In addition to providing free transportation and a meal program for participants each shift, the Mon Pathways to Success program delivers monthly professional development workshops, career counseling, mentorship, and experiential education to encourage personal and career growth. Graduates completed an intensive six-month educational curriculum covering a wide range of topics including financial literacy, professional development, career pathways exploration, health and wellness, benefits understanding, and local resources awareness.

The Mon Pathways to Success program was initially supported by a $75,000 donation by the Hazel Ruby McQuain Charitable Trust and additionally funded in 2023 by a $493,000 award from the Appalachian Regional Commission.
