Vandalia Health’s Mon Health Preston Primary Care Welcomes Dr. Mazezka

Vandalia Health is pleased to announce the addition of primary care physician Dr. Elizabeth Mazezka, DO, to Mon Health Preston Primary Care in Kingwood.

“We are thrilled to welcome Dr. Mazezka to our team in Kingwood as a primary care provider,” said Karen Friggens, Vice President of Physician Services at Mon Health Medical Group. “Dr. Mazezka brings a wealth of experience and a deep commitment to providing exceptional patient care. Her dedication to serving patients locally ensures that our community has a trusted partner in their health care close to home.”

Dr. Mazezka earned her Bachelor of Science in Exercise Physiology from West Virginia University, graduating Magna Cum Laude in 2012. She completed her medical education at the West Virginia School of Osteopathic Medicine in 2018 and her Internal Medicine Residency at Carilion Roanoke Memorial Hospital through the Virginia Tech Carilion Clinic in 2021. Most recently, she served as an Internal Medicine physician at Uniontown Hospital Primary Care in Pennsylvania.

Board-certified in Internal Medicine, Dr. Mazezka’s professional affiliations include the American College of Physicians, the American Osteopathic Association, and the American Medical Association.

Dr. Mazezka has been recognized with numerous awards, including the Silver and Gold TOUCH Awards for Community Service. She has also been involved in community outreach initiatives, such as providing sports physicals for high school students and clinical volunteer work.
