Mon Health Urologist
Dr. Jaschar Shakuri-Rad is offering a free men's health educational seminar focusing on the signs, symptoms and treatment options for erectile dysfunction (ED) and male stress urinary incontinence (SUI).
The seminar will be held at the Mon Health Medical Center Conference Center on Tuesday, Dec. 18. Registration begins at 5:45 p.m. and the seminar starts at 6 p.m.
"Erectile dysfunction (ED) is a condition that affects as many as 50% of men over the age of 40 in the United States," Dr. Shakuri-Rad said. "ED can limit your intimacy, affect your self-esteem and impact your relationship with your partner. Medication helps treat ED in some men, but it does not work for all. For those men, there may be other treatment options."
"Male stress urinary incontinence (SUI) affects up to 500,000 men worldwide," he said. "SUI, also known as bladder leakage, can have a significant impact on your physical and mental health."
The free educational seminar is an opportunity for men and their partners to learn more about ED and SUI treatment. In addition, those attending will hear firsthand about a current patient's experience.
The seminar is co-sponsored by Boston Scientific and is open to the public. Light refreshments will be served.
