Posted Date: 11/21/2016
John Howard Subaru customers will have the opportunity to share the love locally by selecting The Zelda Stein Weiss Cancer Center of Mon General Hospital as their local charity during this year’s “Share the Love” event.
Entering its ninth year, Subaru dealers nationwide are again raising funds for charities. For every new Subaru purchased or leased between Nov. 17 and Jan. 3, 2017, $250 will be donated to charity.
For the second consecutive year, John Howard Subaru selected the Zelda Stein Weiss Cancer Center to be the local charity recipient. Donations will help fund the addition of a new Radiation Therapy Center within the Zelda Stein Weiss Cancer Center of Mon General Hospital.
An anonymous donor will match the donations dollar for dollar. Every $250 donated will generate $500 toward funding the new Radiation Therapy Center.
“On behalf of Mon General Hospital and the Zelda Stein Weiss Cancer Center staff, we are extremely grateful to John Howard Subaru and Randy Buzzo for their support,” said Bill Hennessey, executive director of the Foundation of Mon General Hospital.
