Darryl Duncan new Chairman of West Virginia Hospital Association Board

Mon Health System President and CEO Darryl Duncan is the new Chairman of the West Virginia Hospital Association (WVHA) Board of Trustees.

Duncan, who was to become chairman next year, began is his term early to fill a vacancy. He will continue as chairman through the 2017-2018 term.

Selection to the WVHA Board of Trustees is recognition of leadership ability, professional competence and commitment to the association’s mission and values. The Board Chair is chosen based on active participation and contributions to WVHA committees, task forces and overall association initiatives.

The West Virginia Hospital Association (WVHA) is a not-for-profit statewide organization representing 66 hospitals and health systems. Its mission is to support its members in achieving a strong, healthy West Virginia. It provides leadership in healthcare advocacy, education, information and technical assistance and by being a catalyst for effective change.
